Oscar Sandoval Jr., a 19-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Nov. 29 in the 1300 block of Allesandro Street in Echo Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Officers responding to a “shots fired” radio call discovered Sandoval about 10:15 p.m. in the driver’s seat of a Nissan Xterra, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
Sandoval appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics responded and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:40 p.m., according to the coroner’s office.
