Brian Humphries, a 23-year-old black man, was fatally shot Friday, Sept. 10, in the 1000 block of Lewis Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.Humphries was standing in front of a home visiting friends at about 8:30 p.m. when he was approached by two men and shot, according to a Long Beach Police Department news release.
